We were delighted to welcome back Anna Newell and her team to our school with her wonderfully captivating show, Groove. Anna Newell Theatre Adventures design and create shows for children with complex needs. She has such a fantastic awareness and insight into the the theatrical aspects which appeal to our children - from sounds, song, lighting, visual effects, colour and above all, interaction with performers.
She developed this show, Groove, in consultation with our very special Creative Consultants - our children. From experimentation to development, she was able to watch for responses and feedback from children (and sometimes from staff too !) to ensure this show appealed to each and every audience member.
We are so grateful to have found someone in Ireland who is designing such wonderful shows, specifically to appeal to children with complex needs.
